Welcome to the Cabanon !
Discover the brief story of our family home, where you will be warmly welcomed all year long.
At the very begining, the house was a converted sheepfarm with only one room, used by the whole family to eat and sleep, among the horses on one side and the hay above. The father of my husband's great-uncle slowly transformed the building into a country home for his family, and the "Mas" was then transmitted and transformed from generation to generation.
"When I was young, the Cabanon was our weekend and holiday retreat, the place where all the family could finally meet up. We washed in the "petit bassin", we had lunch under the big linden tree: the tasty grandma' "aïolis" and aunties' "ratatouilles" ... so delicious ! In the afternoon, I sometimes went tadpoles catching in the river, or picking snails, that my sister always insisted to save (without my consent). So many fond memories lie in the soul of my Cabanon ! Still today, it is my haven of peace, the one of my family, friends and I hope... the one of our guests too ! "
